To celebrate Major League Baseball's Opening Week we bring you a classic manager blow-up. It's from 2007 and features Phil Wellman, skipper of the Mississippi Braves, AA affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. In 2009 ESPN did a show on the Top Ten meltdowns in sports history and this moment was voted #1. What elevates it above other incidents is the rosin bag grenade toss - an act of creative genius! Phil is currently hitting coach for the AA Springfield (Mo.) Cardinals. Here's a feature ESPN ran on the event in 2012 and this is the video:
